Minimum numbers and day of activity apply.
Whether you have never been in a kayak before, or are looking to polish your skills so you can do some fishing this summer, then we’ve got you covered. Maybe you are working towards a British Canoe Union star assessment then we have got the perfect day for you as our experienced coaches have a tool box brim full of games, ideas and advice.
What’s involved?
Kayaking is a fun and exciting way to get out on the water; we will have you using great paddle techniques through expert tuition whether you are looking for a river journey or to play along the beautiful Gower coastline.
Can I do it?
Kayaking is suitable for most people and can be adapted for all abilities. Our range of sit on top and closed cockpit kayaks are a safe way to learn, whilst our modern wetsuits utilise the best materials to keep you in the water for longer.
We allow a bit of time for kitting up and getting to the venue and then we let you spend as little or as much time as you need exploring and learning new skills.
What do I need to bring?
- Warm clothes
- Old trainers
- Waterproof top
- Swimwear
- Towel
- Drink
- Medications eg. sunscreen, asthma pump
- Packed lunch (dependent on plans for the day)
We provide
- All kayaking equipment
- Wetsuits
- All safety equipment
Can I have more than one lesson?
Yes, you could book a block of 4 lessons which will help to speed up your learning even more and start moving onto intermediate skills (the price per lesson drops to £40 when booking 4 lessons).
