Ever been lost in the woods? We have and we strongly recommend it, playing games, building shelters, learning to navigate, and roasting marshmallows. This activity engages the mind as well as the body, always keeping you guessing and encouraging unity and co-operation. Fantastic fun for everyone!
What’s involved?
Learn about medieval forests and the ancient skills used to survive in them. Gain an appreciation of the flora and fauna and try and spot birds in the trees. Oh…and try and start a fire with no matches!
Can I do it?
Bushcraft is suitable for most people and we can cater sessions to match people’s abilities and levels of experience. Our instructors hold national governing body qualifications and are first aid qualified to ensure participants safety and enjoyment.
What do I need to bring?
- Tracksuit type bottoms
- Warm top (long sleeve)
- Gloves
- Trainers or boots
- Waterproof jacket
- Drink
- Medications eg. sunscreen, asthma pump
- Packed lunch (dependent on plans for the day)
- Weather appropriate clothing
- Daypack or rucksack
- Hat

Can I have more than one session?
Yes, you could book a block of 4 sessions which will allow you to experience a range of bush and woodland activities and take part in leading some of your final sessions (the price per lesson drops to £40 when booking 4 lessons).
